BIO
Alexandra Adornetto is an Australian actress and screen-writer with a background in Young Adult literature. She began her writing career at age 13 when her first novel The Shadow Thief was picked from the Harper Collins slush pile. It became the first book in her children’s trilogy entitled The Strangest Adventures which pays homage to J.M Barrie, Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton. This was followed by The Halo Trilogy which marked Alexandra’s US debut. Haloand its sequel Hades both hit the NYT best-seller list a week after publication. This was followed by a national US tour organized by Macmillan and the books have since been translated into over twenty five languages.
Alexandra is now focusing her energies on writing and directing for film and television. Although she has a special interest in fantasy, she likes to think she’s not confined to any one genre.
