Writer/director Arwen Byrd was born and raised in New Orleans, received her BFA in film from Chapman and has worked in every aspect of film production for over a decade cumulating in an expertise producing low budget features and documentaries. After a stint at ICM, Arwen moved to Hacienda Film Co, working in both development and physical production, managing multiple low budget horror films including FROZEN and the HATCHET franchise as well as several documentaries including ULTRASUEDE: In search of Halston. Recently, she production supervised Brett Haley’s THE HERO and Gia Coppola’s MAINSTREAM and is currently developing ANARCHY IN THE UK with RSA Films.
