BIO

Benjamin Reeves is an award-winning screenwriter and journalist. He tells stories about wealth, power, influence and the often unseen forces that shape the world we live in.

Reeves’ feature screenplay Kane the Gunslinger won the 2020 Big Apple Film Festival’s screenwriting competition and was an official selection for the 2020 Stowe Story Lab, among other accolades. His feature screenplay Influencers was a quarterfinalist in the 2020 FinalDraft Big Break competition, second rounder in the Launch Pad Features competition and an official selection for the 2020 Northeast Filmmakers Lab and is in development with director Robert Gregson. In January 2021, Reeves wrote and directed Crossing Acheron, a sci-fi short film currently in post-production.

Reeves was previously senior special projects editor at Worth magazine, where he covered billionaires, finance and technology and edited the annual flagship Power 100 ranking. He provided research for the Netflix documentary series Dirty Money and was a foreign correspondent in Latin America.
