Caitlin Muelder - Writer / Director / Actor
BIO
Caitlin Muelder is a creator – Writer, director, actor, artist. “Bi-coastal via the Mississippi River” and originally from Galesburg, Illinois, she is now based out of Los Angeles.
Her directorial and playwriting credits include the LA premiere of Sarah Kane’s haunting 4.48 Psychosis, as well as My Mother’s Daughter, co-written with Joy Rovaris, at the New Orleans Theatre Festival and her own one-woman show based on the life and death of Amelia Earhart, Solitaire, at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival. Her play, The Golden Pool, was selected for the Cherry Picking Festival in NYC, and her sketch comedy writing has been seen at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade, LA and The Second City, LA.
Caitlin uses her popular Instagram account (imagine, a David Lynch fever dream), for artistic inspiration and as an Esoteric Astrological mood board. She is a graduate of Knox College and The University of San Diego/Old Globe MFA program.
