Grant Kolton is a Writer, Director, and animator primarily working in traditional 2d animation. His work includes projects for Pepsi, Bleacher Report, Snoop Dogg, Cage The Elephant, My Morning Jacket, and more. Grant’s recent animated short “By the Name of Boston” played at over 20 festivals internationally where it picked up a few awards and nominations, it continues to screen on various best of fest touring circuits across Europe and the US. His new short “City Dwellers” was co-produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Frederator and will premiere Fall of 2017 on Cartoon Hangover as a part of their “Go! Cartoons” collection. Grant is currently serving as Chief Animator for Circa News where he writes, animates, directs, and sometimes voices original satirical/pop culture shorts on a monthly basis.
