Matthew Love is a writer whose byline has appeared in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Vulture, The Onion AV Club and Time Out New York, where he was formerly the Comedy and Books editor. He’s a consulting producer for Selected Shorts and its spin-off podcast, Too Hot for Radio. He has interviewed, written for or shared a stage with the likes of Chris Rock, David Byrne, Roxane Gay, David Sedaris, Jordan Peele, Stephen Colbert, and Aparna Nancherla, to name a few. For a decade, he’s hosted the comedy debate series Uptown Showdown. His first series, a grandma noir, is currently in development.
