Paloma Riojas - Writer

BIO

Paloma Riojas is a 1st-gen American, proud of her Mexican roots. She loves writing character-driven, genre-bending, untold stories that authentically explore the complexities of being human. She was selected for the Outfest Screenwriting Lab ’22, Mentorship Matters Initiative ’21, and made The Black List Latinx TV List ’20. Paloma is known for writing and producing “Nana,” directed by Diego Luna for the Sundance Institute and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She was recently a Writers’ Assistant for Showtime’s “Your Honor S2” and “Happy Face” for Paramount+. She previously worked as a Development Executive and Producer at a Latinx-focused production company. Paloma has an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and lives with her wife in SoCal.
