BIO

Piero Iberti is a Brooklyn-based screenwriter who has had a talent for communicating the visual to written word most of his life. Growing up in a creative Manhattan household (his mother an artist, his father a film/tv producer) there was a consistent awareness of film and an early support for the arts. Most recently, Piero was a staff writer on USA/Netflix’s THE SINNER where he co-wrote the Season 3 finale and a standalone episode for Season 4. Previously, he assisted showrunner Derek Simonds for the first three seasons of the series before being promoted in the show’s final season. Before that, he worked as a Set PA & Writers’ Assistant on such shows as TREME, BOARDWALK EMPIRE and SHOW ME A HERO, as well as directly assisting Oscar-Nominated producer Rachel Winter and script-coordinating Season 1 of David Simon & George Pelecanos’ HBO series THE DEUCE. Additionally, Piero co-wrote the mystery thriller FISHBOWL, which was released on Apple TV and Amazon. He is currently developing a feature based on H.G. Wells’ “The Red Room” and a Tri-State area set meta-horror series.
