BIO
Since beginning her writing career in 2014, Rosalind wrote LIONESS, which attracted Reed Morano to direct and Ellen Page to star, BARBARIAN, and original screenplay which made the 2016 Black List and has Atlas Entertainment attached to produce with Miguel Sapochnik attached to direct, and the limited series BASS, set up at Dimension Television with David Oyelowo attached to star and Anthony Hemingway attached to direct.
In 2017, she adapted the WWII novel HELL FROM THE HEAVENS for Hollywood Gang, which has Mel Gibson attached to direct and Mark Wahlberg attached to star. The film is slated to begin production in early 2019. She also wrote BARBIE AND RUTH for Bold Films with Reese Witherspoon attached to star, as well as TRAIL OF TEARS for Oscar nominated producer Robbie Brenner, and BLACK SAM, for Casey Affleck.
Rosalind grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and headed east after high school, graduating from Emerson College with a degree in writing and literature with an emphasis on historical nonfiction. She is a former world champion in the sport of equestrian vaulting, a combination of dance, theater and acrobatics on horseback, and holds the most team World Championship medals of any American female.
