Stan Parish is the author of the novels “Down the Shore” and “Love and Theft,” a New York Times Book Review Editor’s Choice that has been published in over a dozen countries and optioned for film by Universal. Before becoming a full-time thriller writer, he was the founder and editor-in-chief of The Future of Everything at The Wall Street Journal and spent the early years of his journalism career covering food, travel, surfing and martial arts. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, GQ, Esquire, Surface and elsewhere. He holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and lives with his wife in Rome.
